Hey guys, I'm having trouble beating Boss Battles on intense, can I get some strategies? What's worked for you guys? So far I've used fox, charizard, link, ike, and metaknight. I just now got to tabuu but only barely (as in I had 140% on a light character, fox). That's the best that I've gotten on intense. Co-op's not really an option and I'm running out of ideas. The bosses that I'm having trouble with are Duon (two headed guy), Rayquaza (dragon pokemon), and Galleon (tank/missle guy). The others I can usually beat without taking damage (except sometimes porky). Tips, tricks, strats?

It's a pretty fun game, but you should definately have a wii control pad before playing it, cause it sucks to use the wiimote sideways and play it.

I actually use my Gamecube controller. I'm a melee expert practically so if I even tried to use anything else...It would get ugly. I like brawl too because it brings lots of new things but I like the way that melee plays better. Actually, my friend uses the wii remote. It's pretty funny to watch.

What really messes me up about Brawl is all of the little things that are different with the characters that I use. Example: in melee, Marth does the most damage if you hit the enemy with the very tip of the sword instead of the middle. Then in brawl they made his range shorter! I can't use Marth anymore because I was so used to just barely hitting people with the edge of the sword that now, I miss in brawl. It's just the little things like that. Fortunately, Marth wasn't my best character. Hey, who do you use in brawl?

That's just one of the many slip ups that game companies make and will continue to make. Consistency is key when it comes to certain games. Improving on a character is one thing, but changing what works is where franchises lose fans.

Yeah. Don't mix me up with the fanboy types though. I loved the old game and I like the new one too just not that particular part. You see? It pays off to play with more than one player! I usually play with Link, Pikachu or fox and can use pretty much anyone else decently. how about you?

For sure. My best is between D.K. and Mario. I'm also a pretty good contender with Link at times.
